Special Accounts Representative - Collections

Schedule
Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday mornings

Responsibilities
CCCU is looking for a talented Special Accounts Representative to initiate collection action that will result in repayment of loans in a timely manner, staying within State and Federal guidelines and credit union policies.  You will consider the problems members may have in fulfilling their obligations to help protect their membership and relationship with CCCU.  You will be highly skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation through both written and verbal communication.  You will be organized, self-motivated, have excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications  

• 2 or 4-year college degree, or equivalent credit union or banking experience
• 2-3 years’ experience in a Collections environment
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows based PC applications, including MS Office and in-house data processing systems
• Knowledge of collection practices and law, repossessions, bankruptcy law, skip-tracing, consumer and real estate loans, vendor relationships, and provisions of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Extensive knowledge of various social media platforms
