Expedition Credit Union is seeking a strategic, innovative, and energetic Marketing Manager for our Credit Union!
Responsibilities include:
- Implement marketing plans, calendar, and budget.
- Develop, implement, and maintain marketing compliance, utilize marketing system(s), tracking tools, and assess marketing programs.
- Manage relationships/contracts with vendors and partnerships.
- Create and maintain content calendars; write and edit posts to align with brand voice and strategy.
- Use Google Analytics (and other analytics tools) to track website and campaign performance; provide monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Support and optimize Google Ads campaigns; track performance and adjust targeting, keywords, and budgets to improve ROI.
- Manage and ensure scheduling for social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase engagement and reach.
- Represent the credit union at events to promote brand awareness and build relationships
- Coordinate/Lead credit union participation in community events and sponsorships. *Events may require after hours and weekends.
- Liaison for the Community Foundation: Scholarships, Grants, etc.
- Network with vendor partnerships and peer groups to remain fluent with competitors and peers
- Communicate marketing initiatives to staff and ensure alignment with credit union goals.
- Ensure that all marketing platforms and materials comply with the State and Federal rules and regulations for the credit union. Keep abreast of changing rules and regulations.
- Prepare/present monthly marketing reports with campaign metrics and recommendations.
- Maintain marketing department files, statistics, and project documentation.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the President/CEO.
Knowledge & Skills:
***Three to five years of related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience. ***
- Strong leadership, coaching direct report(s), and networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with online/digital and social media marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Must be a licensed driver with the ability to travel within the Twin Cities metro area.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds but not limited to.
Job Details:
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday (excluding most federal holidays)
- 8:30am to 5:00pm with the exception to limited weekend events.
Pay/Salary
- $75,000+ based on several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, etc.
