Job Title: Director of IT Services	FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time
Reports To: Executive Vice President and General Counsel	Pay Level: 13 $83K to 143k

Position Objective:

Oversee Minnco’s information technology (IT) infrastructure by establishing and administering strategies and procedures for IT services that align with business goals.  Analyze IT needs and determine ways to meet objectives by modifying or developing new IT processes. Drive innovation, improvement and regulatory compliance.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs and opportunities
• Develop, implement and maintain Minnco’s IT strategic plan in alignment with financial objectives
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technology solutions
• Effectively manage service providers to meet or exceed service expectations and provide excellent overall value to the credit union
• Lead development, implementation and governance of cybersecurity, privacy and business continuity programs
• Ensure optimal performance and security of all IT platforms
• In coordination with IT staff and service providers, set internal standards for service expectations to the credit union
• Monitor security threats and risks, conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance
• Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies to improve operations efficiencies and member satisfaction

• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity
• Oversee Desktop Technician

 

Required Qualifications

• Four year college degree in a related field
• 5+ years of managing service providers and IT support teams
• Proven leader in delivering strategic technology initiatives and driving innovation
• Expertise in digital platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity, compliance
• Strong knowledge if IT infrastructure including servers, networking, databases, and cloud technologies
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to be able to interact with end-users and explain solutions clearly
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently
• Must have reliable transportation as position will require commuting to all branch locations
• Ability to fulfill on-call hours if needed for emergency situations if required

 

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in a credit union environment

 

Environment and Physical Demands:

The majority of work will require sitting/standing while using the computer, and participating in meetings (in person, while on the phone, or online).  Using finger dexterity for typing on the keyboard plus reading and viewing computer monitor.

 

Work Location

Employee will work in an office setting with low noise level, full-time Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.  Occasional weekend work may be required, as well as hours outside of normal business hours should issues arise that need to be addressed. Position requires the ability to travel to all branch locations.
