Required Work Schedule:  
Shifts between 8:45am – 5pm Monday – Friday and some Saturdays 8:45am-12:15pm. Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the organization. Must have reliable transportation.

Position Overview:

A part-time FSR interacts with members through a variety of communication channels. Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests. Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports. Builds rapport with members to cross-sell financial products and services that deepen relationships and fosters branch growth while adhering to credit union policy and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, and active listening skills.
• Good decision-making skills and judgement.

• Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
• A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor. 
• Strong knowledge of technology and various computer programs with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required

Workplace Environment: 

• Requires face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees, and in-person interaction
• Sitting 20-30% and standing 70-80%
• Working at a computer 90% of the day 
• Utilizing the phone 40-60%
• Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion
• Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc. 
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately 50 pounds (cash/coin bags, supplies, etc.)

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 Hourly plus incentives

English/Spanish bilingual fluency additional $1 per hour
