TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative since 1935. We are looking for outgoing individuals to join our Indirect Lending team that is dedicated to building life-long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals.
Indirect Lending Manager will be responsible for developing, organizing, planning, and directing the indirect lending function with vision and strategic focus towards goals and objectives as outlined in the TopLine Strategic Plan. Monitors and analyzes all delivery channels, trends and economic conditions affecting indirect lending and recommends appropriate action. Approves indirect loan applications that exceed the loan authority of underwriting personnel and works very closely with the Assistant Vice President of Lending to ensure seamless interaction with underwriting and loan servicing staff. This position is also responsible for developing and improving operational goals of the indirect lending department which includes staffing, training, and the development of staff.
A successful Indirect Lending Manager will be able to do:
- Effectively manages the entire indirect lending program including; portfolio monitoring and performance at the portfolio level as well as at the specific dealer level
- Successfully works with TopLine staff to develop a sales and service culture for the purpose of achieving and maintaining valuable dealer relationships and member experiences
- Conducts business development as required to promote indirect growth, ensuring face-to-face contact with dealership personnel
- Establishes policies and procedures related to indirect lending, conducts training, and monitors economic and competitor programs to ensure competitiveness
- Ensure that consumer loan policies, procedures, documents and product and services related to indirect consumer lending meet federal and state compliance expectations
- Along with the Executive Vice President/Chief Revenue Officer and Assistant Vice President of Lending establishes loan pricing adjustments
- Recommends/conducts research for a development of new loan products, technology and programs
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of many aspects of TopLine Lending including underwriting Home Equity, Visa, unsecured and consumer related lending products
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Business or related area or equivalent experience desirable
- Minimum of five years indirect experience supervising indirect loan originations and dealership relations
- Thorough working knowledge of underwriting, compliance standards with respect to the consumer loan arena, and risk-based consumer lending with the ability to make sound credit decisions
- Comprehensive working knowledge of legal, regulatory, economic, competitive and technological environments affecting consumer lending
- Experience in a large financial institution with a high volume of consumer loans preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel) is required
- Strong leadership, problem solving and oral and written communication skills is essential
- Ability to work effectively with people in a diverse environment that encompasses regular deadlines where change is always possible and flexibility is required
Salary Range: $64,041.85 – $85, 389.14 (salary)
