Residential Loan Processor
TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative since 1935. We are looking for outgoing individuals to join our Loan Servicing team that is dedicated to building life-long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals.
Responsible for the processing and servicing of all residential loans and clerical related functions for residential loans. Maintains complete and accurate documentation regarding loan files. Coordinates loan closings, prepares loan documents and verifies all residential loan files for accuracy and compliance.
A successful Residential Loan Processor will be able to do:
- Processes all home equity loan requests in accordance with TopLine policy & procedures and applicable state & federal laws.
- Maintains a current knowledge of products/services, rules/regulations, policy, practices and procedures as it relates to residential mortgage transactions
- Fund and establish new home equity loans and lines on servicing software, set up loan auto-pay and send welcome letter.
- Prepare and file mortgages and satisfaction of mortgages with appropriate county.
- Monitor and log recorded mortgages. Request and obtain missing recorded mortgages from Title Company.
- Maintain and organize loan vault filing and accurate files pertaining to all mortgage loans.
- Review and pay outstanding title company invoice monthly.
- Analyze and prepare subordination agreements.
- Provide required notices such as line of credit expiration, etc.
- Act in a backup capacity to the Mortgage Servicer and Loan Service Representative.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Two years’ of loan processing/closing experience.
- Previous clerical or Customer Service experience essential with good math aptitude and ten-key skills.
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Mortgage Lending/Servicing experience desirable.
Salary Range: $22.93 - $28.66 (hourly)
