Credit Union Manager - Part Time

Job Summary
The Credit Union Manager position plans and directs all activities in accordance with the CU's policies as established by the Board of Directors, and all state and federal policies and regulations. Position oversees CU operations including software, IT, investments, payroll, other financial entities and vendors, accounts payable and receivable. Directing and coordinating a high level of communication and team work with directors, committee volunteers, employees and members.

Ziegler Federal Credit Union (ZFCU) is a small in-house credit union with a closed membership for Ziegler Companies employees and their families.  The credit union is open 20 hours each week.  The manager's hours range from 16 - 24 hours each week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective credit unionpolicies and procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance is maintained with federal and state governments, NCUA, external auditors and CU committees, and keeps informed on any forthcoming changes.
• Serves as the Bank Security Act officer and oversees cash handling.
• Prepare Board of Directors monthly reports and facilitatesmonthly board meetings.
• Provide training to board members, committee members and CU staff.
• Maintain positive relationshipwith sponsor and membership.
• Provide members with the services they need to meet their savings and loan nee
• Prepare loan applications for committee review and close loans.
• Ensure loan files are in compliance.Monitor loan delinquencies and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding their accounts.

 Qualifications

• High School graduate or completion of GED.
• 1 -2 years of job related experience
• Proven ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
