Position: Operations Manager

Location: South St Paul, MN | Full-Time, Exempt
Reports To: Vice President

In this key role, you'll oversee branch operations, coach and support our Financial Services Representatives, and play an active role in community engagement and member satisfaction. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage front-line staff, including performance coaching, training, and development
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality member service across in-person, phone, and digital channels
  • Support lending and deposit operations, including application intake, documentation, and closings
  • Develop and lead staff onboarding and training programs
  • Drive team performance to meet sales and service goals
  • Implement and promote new technologies and digital solutions
  • Collaborate with senior management on compliance, risk, and operational best practices
  • Serve as the primary liaison for community business development and marketing initiatives
  • Jump in to support your team whenever needed to ensure seamless member service               

What You Bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in a financial services or retail environment
  • B.S./B.A. degree in business, finance or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of credit union/banking products, services, and regulations
  • Ability to effectively coach, lead and motivate employees to achieve results
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
  • Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and ability to collaborate with others
  • Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on department and member needs
  • A member-focused mindset with a knack for building relationships
  • Sales-driven with a track record of meeting goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and comfort with digital tools
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a team-first approach
  • Willingness to be flexible, learn and grow with us
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required
