The Branch Manager is responsible for managing, developing, coaching and guiding the retail sales functions and operational branch staff. Pursue achievement of organizational goals and objectives as outlined by TopLine Senior Management. Promote and lead a sales and service culture that guides branch growth and profitability, endorse TopLine's mission of exceeding member expectations, and strive to achieve member satisfaction. Maintain quality and committed service to provide difference making service levels to the credit union’s membership. Ensure teamwork in all areas by coaching and providing support to departments throughout the organization.
A successful teller will be able to do:
- Consistently provides a superior level of member service and is a positive role model for staff. Recommends changes to policies and procedures that will enhance and improve member service and delivery systems.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of member demographic and product usage trends and effectively utilizes data for targeted sales initiatives.
- Actively promotes and contributes to positioning TopLine as a responsible community partner by seeking out and acting on opportunities to benefit the organization and the neighborhoods it serves.
- Recommends pricing strategies and product design to increase the credit union’s competitive position.
- Demonstrates coaching and mentoring skills and consistently maintains a positive and professional image in the workplace.
- Maintains high morale through consistent focus on communication, recognition and training. Ensures sales staff has the tools they need to be successful, including seeking out and recommending procedures and system enhancements that will more efficiently support efforts.
- Supervises all branch staff, including training of all personnel to ensure a high level of service is maintained, maintaining accurate personnel documentation and performance appraisals, coordinating of scheduling, and hiring/discharging of personnel with management approval and the approval of the Human Resources Department.
- Maintains working knowledge of TopLine operations and lending functions, including both consumer-related and business-related products. Ensures all state and federal regulations and guidelines as well as Credit Union bylaws and policies/procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
- Four year degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience essential.
- Minimum of five years experience, three of which in a supervisory capacity in a retail sales and/or lending environment essential.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations including operations and lending essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize essential.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational project management skills essential.
- Ability to multi-task and work with numerous interruptions essential.
- Must have the ability to travel between credit union branch offices and other off-site locations as necessary.
- Ability to work effectively with people in a diverse environment that encompasses regular deadlines, where change is always possible, where flexibility and immediate decision making is required.
Salary Range: $56,163.87 – $74,885.16 (salary)
