Financial Service Representative

TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative since 1935. 

We are looking for an outgoing individual to join our Forest Lake team that is dedicated to building life-long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals. Financial Services Representatives provide a full range of information and assistance regarding all TopLine products and services. Accept and process various financial transactions accurately, open accounts and efficiently promotes credit union products and services while providing excellent member service through use of sales and referral skills to ensure members’ needs and expectations are met. 

A successful Financial Service Representative will be able to:

• Provide superior member service by building rapport and educating members on credit union products and services that will best meet their needs.
• Open and close accounts and deliver all applicable information required by law 
• Interview members to determine their individual needs and recommend appropriate products or services
• Read credit report and utilize content to help members save money, or offer solutions to improve their financial situation
• Performs necessary member account maintenance, research and account problems.
• Provide members with current account status, including loan payoffs and current balances and assist members in balancing their accounts
• Process debit card request, file maintenance, name and address changes, replacement cards and request to close cards
• Assist members with enrollment in online services and troubleshoot any issues in getting them enrolled.
• Responds to member requests, problems, and complaints and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information or assistance
• Ensures that member information is secure and kept confidential
• Performs member requests with highest attention to detail and accuracy
• Enter member wires request for processing
• Act as a Notary providing requested services when applicable 
• Cover teller line when staffing levels requires it
• Assist members with teller type transactions whenever needed including name and address change, etc.
• Gathers information to comply with and/or to complete mandatory compliance forms such as CTR, SAR, OFAC and MIL
• Reports any concerns of potential account or elder abuse to Branch Manager
• Complies with all applicable credit union policies, procedures and government regulations including BSA
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Financial Services Representative or Personal Banker.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
• Keen focus on detail and accuracy with problem solving abilities.
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality.
• Be a self-starter working with minimal supervision
• Previous lending experience preferred

Salary Range: $20.72 - $25.90 (hourly)
