We are looking for a experienced, talented individual to join our Member Business Service Department. In this role you will report to the Vice President of Business Services, this position is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and growing both new and existing commercial relationships. Preference given to those with DNA software experience. 

*Primary Responsibilities*

Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing commercial members, assisting with inquiries and reseach, opening business accounts, educating new and existing members on available products and services. You will have the opportunity to develop and retain relationships within our market coverage area. 

Communicate with members, internal staff, title companies, insurane companies, and others to handle inquiries, resolve problems, and obtain all teh necessary documentation quickly and effectively. 

Review and approve mobile deposits. 

Review the Business overdraft report in MARS, coordinate with Finance on outcomes, and notify businesses accordingly. 

Assist Lending in obtaining financial data for analysis and propsals for new businesses. 

Support collections for delinquent accounts by monitoring deposit accounts. 

Coordinate on-site inspecations of collateral as needed. 

Track and ensure annual reviews are conducted on borrowers' financial positions. 

Provide backup coverage to the Member Service Team as needed. 

Prepare and process business loan records, files, and correspondence after approval. 

Review funding requests for completeness and acceptability. 

Order all required verifications, documentation, and follow-up as necessary. 

Facilitate loan closings, including sending closing documents, approving settlement statements, and ordering wire transfers. 

Conduct all post-closing actvities. 

Track and manage exception items and lien cards. 

Additonal Responsibilities:

Compliance - Ensure that business loan policies, procedures, services, products, and documentation adhere to feder and state regulations. 

Community Engagement - Participate in and/or attend various events during or after business hours to promote SMFCU professionally and enhance the credit union's community presence.
